Foxy Fund Run Class Competition Final Results

This year’s Foxy FUNd Run was successful beyond our wildest dreams! Thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser in any way. Every bit of donation, sharing, running, cheering, and effort contributed to our best year ever!

Class Competition Rules

As a reminder, we are facilitating a Class vs. Class fundraising competition for each grade this year. The winning class in each grade will earn an extra PE session during a future week of school.

To determine the winning class, we are averaging the total funds raised by each class with the class’s number of enrolled students to get an Average per Student donation. This allows us to compare classes of different sizes more fairly.

Class Competition Final Results

The official final totals of the fundraiser are in! The classes from each grade with the highest Average per Student donation are:

  • Kindergarten– Young with $85.95 per student
  • 1st Grade– Kregel with $99.25 per student
  • 2nd Grade– Sample with $86.53 per student
  • 3rd Grade– Homsher with $70.79 per student
  • 4th Grade– Maloy with $91.63 per student
  • 5th Grade– Abbott with $56.46 per student

Congratulations to the above classes; thank you for your hard work and generosity! The classroom teachers will work with the administrators, Mrs. Smith and Mr. Wilhelm, to arrange the extra PE sessions. Enjoy!

School Win

While the above classes exhibited particularly impressive teamwork and effort, the whole RFE community worked together to achieve an exceptional outcome.

We set a new Foxy FUNd Run fundraising record, raising $33,255.25!

To commemorate this incredible achievement, Mr. Awano has agreed to get pied in the face by our number one student fundraiser this Thursday (10-26-23) morning on the morning announcements. Students pay extra attention to the announcements this week!

We also plan on recording the event, so keep an eye on the news section for a post with the video.
