DESCRIPTION:Dress up the family and join us for this super sweet event! We are excited to announce the PTA is once again hosting our much-anticipated Trunk or Treat event. To make it a spooktacular success\, we need your help! \nWhat will happen at the Trunk or Treat?\nFor those of you who are new to our school or didn’t attend last year\, our Trunk or Treat is a safe and festive Halloween event where families gather in our school parking lot\, decorate their car trunks\, and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. Some cars will have games\, we’ll play music and students will vote on the winning trunk. The event is scheduled from 1-3 on October 29th\, but will end early if we run out of candy. Last year we had a great turn out and expect the same again this year! This event is weather permitting. \nHow Can You Help?\nTo make this event as sweet as possible\, we are kindly asking for candy donations from our wonderful parents. Your contribution will go a long way in ensuring that every child leaves with a smile and a bag full of treats. \nDonation Details:\n\nWe are accepting all types of individually wrapped candies and treats.\nPlease ensure that all donations are in unopened\, factory-sealed packaging for safety – please no homemade treats.\n\nDrop-Off Location:\nYou can drop off your candy donations in the school’s lobby starting now until October 27th. Students can be on the lookout to feed our candy monster\, Filmore! \nWant to decorate a trunk?\nIf you’d like to get even more involved\, sign up to decorate a trunk and hand out candy! Spaces are limited\, so sign up today to ensure you get a spot! We are asking that each car bring one large bag of candy (150+ pieces) and we will then pass out candy donations the day of\, to add to your supply. \nClick here to register to decorate a trunk.

SUMMARY:Foxy FUNd Run 2023
DESCRIPTION:What is the Foxy FUNd Run?\nThe Foxy FUNd Run is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year! \nStudents spend the weeks before the run asking for donations from family and community members; then students “earn” said donations by running laps during the school day. \nWho participates in the Foxy FUNd Run?\nAll RFE students participate in the run\, regardless of participating in the fundraiser. However\, the more fundraiser participants we have\, the better! \nParents are welcome to attend the run as observers; some volunteers are needed too. All visitors and volunteers must bring photo ID with them on the day of the event. If you are interested in volunteering to help on race day\, sign up using this form. \n\nWhy Participate in the Foxy FUNd Run?\nThis fundraiser garners more than half of our annual budget and allows us to avoid product-selling fundraisers throughout the year. \n100% of these funds benefit RFE students. \nPTA funds support a variety of initiatives for students\, such as field trips\, educational website subscriptions\, the student planners\, and more. \nStudents can also win prizes based on the money they raise! \nPrizes\nEach student can win prizes based on the funds they raise. Students accumulate prizes as they work through the prize levels. This year our prizes are: \n\n\n\n$25- RFE Frisbee\n$50- RFE Spirit Wear Shirt\n$75- RFE Handheld Fan\n$100- RFE Fleece Blanket\n$250- Soft Cover Unpersonalized Yearbook\n\n\n\nIf you earn a RFE Spirit Wear Shirt\, please indicate your size on the Foxy FUNd Run- Student Donation Form and return it\, even if you donate online. \nClass Competition\nThis year\, for the first time\, we are having a class vs class fundraising competition. The class prize is an extra PE session!  \nThere will be one winning class per grade. The winner will be determined by the highest average earnings per class. This will allow classes of various sizes to fairly compete. \nFind the current class standings here. \nRun Day Info\nShirt Colors\nEach grade level has been assigned a color\, on the day of the run\, please make sure your student is wearing a shirt predominately colored as assgined. \n\nK – Purple\n1st – Blue\n2nd – Green\n3rd – Yellow\n4th – Orange\n5th – Red\n\nRun Times\nStudents will run during their existing PELMA schedule for the day of the run. \n\n9:30 – 10:15 Grade 3\n10:20 – 11:05 Grade 2\n11:10 – 11:55 Grade 1\n12:30 – 1:15 Grade 4\n1:20 – 2:05 Grade 5\n2:10 – 2:55 Kindergarten\n\nDownloads\nIf you would like another copy of the packet that was sent home with student’s the week of September 11th\, you can download a copy here.
