SUMMARY:2024 Fall Beautification Project
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Fall Beautification Project! This is a wonderful opportunity for families\, students\, and community members to come together and make a difference at Ring Factory Elementary School. We will be working on enhancing the school grounds by planting\, weeding\, and performing general outdoor cleanup. Every helping hand makes a huge impact! \nVolunteer Opportunities\nWe are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks\, including: \n\nGeneral gardening and cleanup\nWeeding and mulching\nPlanting flowers and shrubs\nTransporting yard waste (We need someone with a pickup truck to make a couple of runs to the yard waste dump.)\n\nThis event is open to all families and community members. If you’re part of a local scouting group\, or know someone who is\, we’d love to have your support. We’re also reaching out to volunteers from Patterson Mill Middle School\, and your participation will be greatly appreciated! \nWhat to Bring\n\nGardening gloves\nSmall gardening tools (if you have them)\nReusable water bottle\nA smile and positive energy!\n\nHow to Sign Up\nTo volunteer or for more information\, please contact Amy Weeks at afweeks@gmail.com. If you want to make the first day a little less stressful\, consider attending the Sneak-a-Peek and Back-to-School event. \nSchool Supplies\nOne of the many conveniences of this event is the opportunity to bring your school supplies and drop them off in your classroom before the first day. This will help you and your student feel more prepared and organized. Plus\, you’ll get to meet your teacher\, which will surely ease any first-day jitters! \nSchool Supply Kits\nIf you ordered a supply kit through the PTA\, your kit will be in your student’s classroom during the event. \nSchedule for the Evening\n5:15 pm to 5:45 pm–  Sneak-a-Peek \n\n\n\nThis is the opportunity for you to drop off your school supplies in your student’s classroom\, meet their teacher\, and see where all the fun will be happening this year!\n\n\n\n5:45 pm– Mr. Awono and the PTA speak in the gym \n\n\n\nEveryone will assemble in the gym to hear these important messages.\n\n\n\n6:10 pm to 6:35 pm– Session One in the classrooms \n\n\n\nFamilies will visit their student’s homeroom teacher to learn about the upcoming year.\n\n\n\n6:40 pm to 7:05 pm– Session Two in the classrooms \n\n\n\nIf families have more than one student in the school\, this is an opportunity to visit a second homeroom teacher.\n\n\n\n
